“Each day is born with a sunrise
and ends in a sunset, the same way we open our eyes to see the light and close them to hear the dark. You have no control over how your story begins or ends. But by now, you should know that all things have an ending.
Every spark returns to darkness.
Every sound returns to silence.
And every flower returns to sleep with the earth.”

Miscarriage, Stillbirth, and Infant Loss Support

Sadly, according to the March of Dimes, 10-20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage and numerous others give birth to babies that will not be coming home in their arms. Sometimes we know the reason, but more often than not, we don’t. No matter what, pregnancy loss leaves us feeling a wide range of emotions and asking all sorts of questions. ‘Why did this happen?’ ‘Did I do something to cause this?’ ‘Will I ever give birth to a healthy baby?’

And while society in general doesn’t like to think about miscarriage and stillbirth, we must acknowledge it in order to break down the stigma. Every pregnancy ends with a postpartum recovery period, even with loss. You still need to slow down and let your body heal.

But with loss, also comes grief and you don’t have to grieve alone. We can help you navigate treatment options, attend appointments with you, provide reflective listening, bring your family meals, help keep the household running smoothly, and help you commemorate your pregnancy and your baby through art, forest bathing, hugs, silence, or whatever else you need.

Not only are we trained bereavement doulas and Certified Trauma-Informed Professionals, but we’ve also personally been through it as individuals. Our families have been through it with us. We are here to support you and witness your story.

Can include:

  • support to explore benefits, risks, and alternatives of potential treatments and procedures

  • accompanying you to medical appointments

  • help advocating for your choices

  • empathetic and reflective listening

  • household support during your physical recovery

  • creating art, journaling, forest bathing, or any other activity that feels right to you

Abortion and Termination Support

Abortion and termination are health care. Period. And you have the right to ask all your questions, make informed decisions about options, and have loving & unbiased support through any procedures and treatments you choose.

Your full spectrum doula can talk to you about benefits, risks, and alternatives regarding your care, help you advocate for yourself and find the right provider for you. We also create space for you to process and reflect on your experience, if that is something you would like support with.

Can Include:

  • all of the same types of support mentioned above, plus…

  • tailoring it to any other situation in a way that is culturally responsive and helpful to you in a very unique way
